This review examines how metabolic stresses in tumor microenvironments contribute to T cell exhaustion and explores nanomaterial-based strategies to restore immune function. It discusses approaches targeting lactate, lipids, adenosine, nutrient deprivation, and hypoxia, while identifying challenges in safety, manufacturing, and clinical translation.
